Departure from Varadero airport (travel time 25–30 minutes). After arriving on the island, there is a boat trip (with an open bar) to the island of giant lizards (iguanas). Do not forget to bring a photo or video camera as well as bread, as the lizards like to eat bread and enjoy posing for your shots. After visiting the lizards, you will be taken to the coral reef, an underwater nature reserve with crystal-clear water and an extraordinary variety of marine life (numerous fish species, giant clams, etc.). Sufficient fins, masks, and snorkels for diving are available on board the boat. On Mermaid Island, where you will be taken after the coral reef, you can swim and sunbathe on the beach with amazingly fine, white sand. Afterwards, there is an open-air lunch under a roof made of palm leaves. For an extra charge, you can ask for a lobster to be prepared for you. The sea trip takes place on board a yacht with an open bar. Return to Varadero in the evening.
