Day 1
Barcelona
Arrival at Barcelona airport. Welcome at the airport.
Transfer and hotel check-in.
Day 2
Barcelona – Saragossa – Madrid
Breakfast.
City tour of Barcelona. We drive along the Passeig de Gràcia (Casa Batlló and Casa Milà) to the architectural masterpiece of modernism – Antoni Gaudí’s Sagrada Família (exterior view), followed by a visit to the viewpoint on Montjuïc.
Departure for Madrid.
En route, stop in Saragossa to visit the city’s central square and the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar.
Arrival in Madrid.
Hotel check-in and dinner*.
Day 3
Madrid
Breakfast.
Combined walking and bus city tour of Madrid.
We drive along the famous Prado and Recoletos boulevards, see one of the city’s landmarks – the Cibeles Fountain – as well as Calle Alcalá, and stop at Plaza de Colón.
We also see the lively Gran Vía and the Plaza de España. Walk through the historic part of the city – the so-called Austrian Madrid – from the Royal Palace to the Puerta del Sol.
Free time to visit the Prado Museum or the Thyssen Museum (optional, admission not included).
Day 4
Madrid – Toledo – Seville
Breakfast.
Departure for Toledo.
Stop at the viewpoint with a magnificent view of the city, followed by a walking tour through the historic center (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
We see the old Alcántara and San Martín bridges and walk through the winding alleys of the Jewish Quarter.
After some free time for an individual visit to the cathedral and the main square, Zocodover – continue to Seville.
Hotel check-in.
Possibility for an evening city walk (optional, admission not included).
Dinner*.
Day 5
Seville – Granada
Breakfast.
Walking tour through the center – stroll through the labyrinth of alleys in the Santa Cruz Jewish Quarter and visit the cathedral (admission included*).
We see the banks of the Guadalquivir with the Golden Tower as well as the famous Plaza de España.
Free time.
Continue to Granada.
Possibility to visit a flamenco show in the historic Albaicín district (optional, admission not included).
Hotel check-in.
Dinner*.
Day 6
Granada – Valencia
Breakfast.
Visit to the Alhambra palace and garden complex (admission included*) – an outstanding monument of Moorish heritage with the Generalife gardens.
Tour of the center of Granada:
- Plaza Nueva
- Monument to Columbus and Queen Isabella the Catholic
- Cathedral with the Royal Chapel (exterior view)
After some free time – departure for Valencia.
Arrival and hotel check-in in the evening.
Day 7
Valencia – Barcelona
Breakfast.
City tour with a visit to the historic center:
- Serranos Towers
- Plaza de la Virgen
- Plaza de la Reina
- Cathedral with the Micalet bell tower
- Ceramics Museum
- Silk Exchange (La Lonja de la Seda)
- Central Market
Also, a visit to the architectural complex City of Arts and Sciences.
Valencian paella for lunch (included in the premium package*).
Free time.
Continue to Barcelona.
Arrival in Barcelona in the evening.
