A whole day is dedicated to getting to know the traditions and culture of Cyprus. The journey takes you along a picturesque mountain road past Cypriot villages that have preserved their traditional lifestyle to this day, as well as along impressive citrus plantations – to the donkey farm. Upon your arrival, you will be treated to Cypriot delicacies: halloumi cheese, freshly baked bread, carob syrup, honey, olive oil, local wine, and zivania.
Afterwards, you will visit a museum of rural crafts and learn about the winemaking process. Then, you will ride donkeys to the old Sindi Monastery from the 14th–15th century and later refresh yourselves with seasonal fruit. Upon returning to the farm, a traditional dinner awaits you with zivania, wine, and juices.
Your insight into village life continues with a dance lesson in the “Sirtaki”. A cheerful atmosphere, adventure, delicious food, as well as the friendliness and hospitality of the locals will help you feel the local character of village life.
Before you leave the farm, you will receive a certificate confirming your qualification as a “donkey guide”.
