Entry requirements for Egypt

As of March 1, 2026, the fee for an entry visa at Egyptian border crossings will increase from 25 USD to 30 USD.

The fee applies to entry via all Egyptian airports.

For travelers entering Sharm El Sheikh, the free 15-day “Sinai Stamp” remains in effect. When departing from the Sinai Peninsula, applying for a standard visa for 30 USD is required.

For citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, mandatory registration is required when obtaining a visa at the airport (+5 USD per person).
